My green house has waited 4 years for seedlings to be started. Mean while it is used as a creative storage area. My son meticulously sawed these for his older sister (the only one he has) as over-sized name tags for her Highschool church girls. They are huge.
Sarcocopa and daphne sure catches ones senses this time of year. Daphne is sensitive to cold weather and saturated soil where as Sarcocopa though yellows in compact soil doesn't thin like Daphne.
In the depth of Winter in the Willamette Valley the primroses give forth color. The crocus flower heads are pushing through the cold weather showing up the taller bulbs foliage.
